Q is very resistant to pumping his legs on the swing. He tells us, "I will when grandma MJ is here.". Not sure what the secret power is....but he does it when she is here.

The One Year Birthday Photo Shoot Slideshow

Thanks so much to the wonderful art of Jenny Pinkston, (email Katharine or me if you need an awesome photographer in the Austin area), we have Zoe's birthday photo shoot ready to share.  I thought that since tomorrow is her 13 month birthday it would be good to get it out.

One year doctor visit

Zoe screamed through a recent visit to the doctor.
She weighed in at 23 lbs and 13 ozs and was 31 inches long (tall).

Egg dying

Q enjoyed the process of egg dying. He did well with the careful placement of each egg in the cups and then later fished them out.

He doesn't even know the joy of the hunt since he was sick last year and too young to really get it the year before.

Lil reader

Zoe is getting to the point where she doesn't bite every book as soon as she has it in her hands. She appears to be bringing them to us to read, though she rarely stays for the conclusion. In a house full of readers it is no big surprise, but still, it's fun to see.

I want MORE!

Zoe has been showing the sign for "more" upon request, reluctantly, for some time. Today, she was asking for more unprompted, and without screaming. Yay!
