2 months old

It is hard to believe that Quinlan is two months old today. In the last two months he has grown almost 5 inches taller and gained about 5 pounds. Quinlan regularly responds to voices, looks into faces and smiles. He definitely coos at people when he wants to let you know that he is happy. Very recently, he has started grabbing at things, and this morning Katharine watched as he pushed himself all the way up from his tummy on his arms--unfortunately, she didn't get the camera fast enough.

This afternoon we visited with Dr. Eady, and Q got a clean bill of health. She checked him out and continued to confirm that he is doing great. Quin did get his first two shots, one vaccine for diptheria, pertussis, and tetanus and one for pneumococcus. He was not very happy about getting the shots, but did really well.
We got a short video of him at the doctor right before he had his shots.

Then when we came home we took our "monthly" photo shot on his monkey. If you are really into the comparison thing, you can go back to when I posted the first version of this photo and see if you can see the changes.

We are happy that he is sleeping a little better, now that we have the new swaddles that contain his feet and arms. He still works his little arms up and out, waking himself up, but generally does very well.
Quin, Mom, and Dad are all happy.
