10%

We weighed Q again - happily using the Wii balance board and the Wii fit program's fitness assessment. (No - we will not allow hm to play copious amounts of video games, the poor boy will be very maladjusted.) We found out that he is now just about 10% of his Daddy. We do weigh him at home (with the extra few ounces his diaper and onesie add), where at the doctor they do it in the buff. The little behemoth is now a whopping 15 pounds - just under 10% of Jared's fighting weight, before dinner.

He is surviving life at home without Katharine, who is back at school. We are very lucky to only have (at most...maybe less) 22 days left with students. We are even luckier to have generous family and friends traveling to stay with him. Our friend, Joyce, took day one last Thursday and said it was a breeze. I was thrilled to stay home on Friday with him (we did a vaccination shot and hung out with the neighbors since the pounding of the new roof installation was a little annoying). Today was day one with Strega Nona 'Stina and "Pops" AKA Grandpa Rick. Q had a ball, as you can seen in Pops' photos of him. Plus Pops is bringing some A+ cooking with him, and I love the fact that he took planning, shopping, cooking and even cleaning under his charge. Hmmm....food. Q watched longingly as we ate a delicious lentil stew tonight.
